San Fernando hill rising above the city
Buccoo Reef, Paria, shades of people show
we have more colour here that the biggest rainbow

If like me crime making yuh worry
then you know why I cry for T&T
cause Hasley, Bovell, Lara, York and Ato
Kitchie, Sparrow and al the masters of kaiso
steelpan, soca, chutney invented in T&T
show us what a great county we could really be

So if like me yuh love our country
then be sure to know its history
else steelpan, calypso, will all go
out into the world and nobody will know
all these thing were born right here in Trinbago
